This used Bito box-section beam is intended as a load-bearing element in a pallet racking system and, together with the uprights, forms a safe and organised storage level. This is the PT150S type with a length of 3300 mm and a profile of 150 x 50 mm, supplied with 2 locking pins for secure locking into the frame.

Application in the warehouse

In everyday logistics environments, beams are used to create pallet positions and efficiently align the racking height per level with your goods flow. With a beam length of 3300 mm, this beam pair accommodates three euro pallets (800 x 1200 mm) or three block pallets (1000 x 1200 mm) side by side. In accordance with NEN-EN 15512, a minimum clearance of 75 mm between pallets is maintained, corresponding to an average maximum pallet width of 1000 mm. Alternatively, a combination of 1 euro pallet and 2 block pallets (three pallets in total) also fits. This length is often chosen for racking bays with a fixed, uniform pallet layout.
