This used Jungheinrich beam is intended as a horizontal support beam in a pallet racking system and, together with the frames, forms the basis for a stable storage solution. It concerns type AUF'B'E' 0486 in Lightbeam design with a length of 3300 mm and a profile size of 60 x 50 mm. Supplied including 2 locking pins for correct locking into the frame.

In practice, this beam is used to create a racking bay of the correct width and to allow pallets or carriers to rest safely on the beam pairs. The locking pins help prevent unwanted lifting out due to vibrations or handling, which contributes to a neat and safe warehouse layout.

In accordance with NEN-EN 15512, a minimum clear space of 75 mm between pallets is maintained, corresponding to an average maximum pallet width of 1000 mm. Alternatively, a combination of 1 euro pallet and 2 block pallets (three pallets in total) also fits. This length is often chosen for racking bays with a fixed, uniform pallet layout.
